Optimal-led team completes potential study for Pennsylvania

Optimal Energy just led the work to estimate the potential for energy efficiency in Pennsylvania as part of Pennsylvania’s Public Utility Commission’s work to establish goals for Phase IV of Act 129.  Optimal led a team including our own staff and team members from EcoMetric, Demand Side Analytics, and Brightline, as subcontractors to NMR Group in their role as head consultants for the Pennsylvania Statewide Evaluator (SWE).  The study’s results can be found here. In addition to estimating overall demand for energy efficiency, the study assessed the potential for peak demand reduction, and combined heat and power. The team worked to optimize program potential results within budget limits that are established in Pennsylvania law. If you would like more information on this study, please reach out to Sam Ross at Optimal Energy.
