Energy efficiency co-benefits as a driver for multifamily retrofits

Optimal Managing Consultant Elizabeth Chant will present at the convening of Energy Efficiency for All (EEFA) and the Network for Energy, Water, and Health in Affordable Buildings (NEWHAB) in Los Angeles, May 21-23. She joins colleagues Rebecca Schaaf and Tawe Wongbuphanimitr from Stewards of Affordable Housing for the Future (SAHF) and Bruce Tonn of ThreeCubed. Elizabeth worked with SAHF in 2018 to develop a concept paper and interactive spreadsheet tool. These help the owners of multifamily buildings better understand the benefits of different energy efficiency measures to their residents. This work will be presented in a session on “(un)Intended Outcomes: People and Health as a Driver for Energy Upgrades.” For more information please visit the SAHF website.
